SPECIAL EVENT: WORLD WAR II: INVASION OF NORMANDY
JUNE 6th & 7th, 2008
The second annual World War II event will be even better than last year. We will be less restrictive with the rules and will simplfy the event. There will be mini missions, along with the main mission, to keep things active. It will be up to teams to decide if the small missions will help them win the big war. This year we will be paying anybody interested to referee. We will need at least 6 refs. It will pay $8 an hour. Call 307-752-7003 if your intrested. No charge for camping this year. We will provide plenty of water. You may bring your own paintballs but will pay a one time fee of $25 (must be approved by field owner) or you can buy from Raging Bull Paintball. Raging Bull Paintball will cost: Stinger $45 case and Marballizer $60 case.
This year's pricing will be as follows: Register before May 29, 2008 and your squad will be guaranteed that you will stay together. $35 per person (covers all air fills and referees fees). If you register after May 29, 2008 the fee goes to $50 per person and there is NO guarantee that your sqaud won't be separated. You will have to provide your own meals or drive to town for meals.
The Rules this year will be as follows; Both teams must choose a General and commanders. This year there will not be any points for hitting ranked personal. In some missions there will be reinsertion points, where a person may go and then come back into the game. Points will be scored by accomplishing the missions, taking a battle flag, and through mini missions. It will be up to command to decide how you will proceed. There will be some missions where there will be multiple missions. There will be boundries but teams will be able to play missions however they choose. A referee must be present when a squad goes on mini missions or main missions. Each mission will have time limits. No Tanks. Homemade paintball "weapons and markers" must be approved by Raging Bull Paintball.

What is a scenario game?
Unlike speedball or even woodsball, this is an all-day event that can be laidback or very intense. You have two teams (German and Americans) and some third parties (like French resistance). You play as a team but you also play in squads or as an individual (sniper). You are given missions or can perform duties that help your team by getting points or supplies. It is a role-playing game that uses props and imagination. Some things are real, like grenades and land mines. To be successful we need as many people to play as possible (50 or more).
Imagine you are looking for a sniper that has been terrorizing your men, when all of sudden paintballs and paintball grenades start flying all around you. You start to run for cover when you realize that you have stepped on a landmine, its an AMBUSH!
